Shipping and Return Policy

Shipping Information

American Sunglass uses USPS to ship orders for which we get a daily pick up. Orders sent via USPS First Class (free shipping over $75) normally arrive within 2-7 business days and can be sent to any address with a zip code, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and/or post office boxes.

Orders requested to be shipped via USPS Priority normally arrive within 2-3 business days and can be sent to any address with a zip code, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and/or post office boxes. There is a fee for this service.

USPS Express Mail delivery, which is delivered in one day to many locations, is also available at an extra charge.

Orders placed before 8:00am on a business day ship that day. Orders placed after 8:00am or on weekends and holidays ship the next available business day. We will contact you in the event something delays your order.

Your order is sent to the "Ship to" address you provided during the checkout process. When your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number so you can follow the progress of your package. Please remember to add  to your safe list to assure that you receive our emails concerning order and tracking information.

Return/Exchange Information

Any regular item purchased online at may be returned WITHIN 30 DAYS (please note that a different policy specified on receipts applies to in-store purchases at American Sunglass in Falmouth, MA) from the date of the original invoice for refund (less any extra shipping charges you may have paid) or exchange. The returned merchandise must be received in our warehouse by the 30th day. The merchandise must be in its original condition with the original packaging and documentation. Worn, broken or abused merchandise is non-returnable. Typically there is no return on special or custom orders.

To assure a hassle-free return or exchange, please

  • Use a rigid box with flaps intact.
  • Remove old address labels and delivery markings from the box.
  • Wrap items separately.
  • Use adequate cushioning material.
  • Use strong tape designed for shipping.
  • Do not use string or paper over-wrap.
  • Use a single address label that has clear, complete delivery and return addresses.
  • Place a duplicate address label inside the box.
  • Add a note specifying whether you would like to return or exchange
